First visit info

Whether we are discussing a simple dental treatment or a complex, interdisciplinary dental treatment, they all represent a journey with the sole destination of achieving the long-awaited smile and maintaining personal oral health goals in the long term.

From the first interaction to each return for prophylaxis, we present you how the journey with our team looks like:

Bookings

Whether you choose to send a request through the form on the website or directly to the contact email address, or perhaps you prefer by voice or written message on the contact phone number, you will get to talk to our colleagues at the reception and with their help you will be able to confirm the desired appointment.

Initial consultation

For a proper assessment of your oral health, the initial consultation lasts around 1 hour and will include a dental status and an analysis of your smile. You will discuss with the medical coordinator all the aspects related to any problems or difficulties you are experiencing and what personal expectations or goals you have regarding oral health. This is the optimal time for us to align our expectations and goals and at the end of the consultation you will receive details about the next steps. It is important to remember to arrive 15-20 minutes before the appointment so that we can finalize all the documents necessary for your registration (in case you have not completed them online via the links sent in the appointment confirmation message). The colleagues at the reception will guide you through this entire process, whether you choose the online option or in the clinic.

Medical documentation

After the consultation, the case documentation follows, which is the starting point for establishing the diagnosis. This includes a photo-video session, intraoral and facial scanning, along with mandibular movements. If there is an indication from the doctor, radiological investigations will also be performed, which will be integrated with the rest of the information to obtain the overall picture, necessary to develop the treatment plan.

Interdisciplinary analysis

After the initial consultation, the medical coordinator may request additional specialist consultations to gain a complete overview. At the end of this stage, an interdisciplinary analysis of your case will be carried out and the medical team will develop a treatment plan perfectly adapted to achieve your goals.

Treatment plan

The medical coordinator will present your treatment plan, which includes your diagnosis, medical stages, and cost estimates. All steps will be explained in detail, and any questions you may have, whether medical or related to other aspects of the treatment plan, will be answered so that you can make a safe and informed decision at the end of the discussion.

Treatment

Once we have your confirmation that you agree with the proposed treatment plan, the necessary appointments will be organized and we will begin the sessions with the medical interventions. The medical coordinator will monitor the evolution of your case at all stages of the treatment plan, from beginning to end.

Routine check-up

Oral health is also important for your overall health and regular check-ups are essential to maintain optimal oral health in the long term. At the end of treatment, the coordinating physician will create a personalized schedule for your periodic check-ups.

All necessary medical procedures will take place at Dentelo Clinic, thus eliminating the problem of traveling to multiple locations to complete the treatment.
