Investigation and diagnosis

Functional analysis

Digital technology is an important component in modern dentistry. The Shining 3D e-Motion system digitally records intraoral scanning, facial scanning and mandibular movements and by integrating CBCT imaging into the same platform it allows us to perform a complex functional analysis (facial aesthetics analysis, orthodontic facial simulation and digital smile simulation). This process helps us to plan and perform personalized, precise and effective treatments.

Oral cancer screening

During the annual check-up, a non-invasive and quick visual examination (approximately 2 minutes) is performed where the doctor analyzes the oral cavity using the OralID device. It uses fluorescent light technology to highlight abnormal tissues that cannot be seen with the naked eye. Detecting oral cancer is very important, the chances of cure increasing significantly if it is discovered at an early stage.

Digital imaging

The Vatech EzRay digital sensor intraoral radiology device is available in closed circuit to avoid trips outside the clinic during treatments, so we can take intraoral x-rays on the spot if needed. For other types of x-rays, we have collaborations with dedicated imaging centers.

Photo and video studio

Dental, facial photography and video recordings with professional devices in a controlled light environment are essential for interdisciplinary analysis and detailed planning of each case.

Prophylaxis

Guided Biofilm Therapy is performed using the GBT® Machine by following an 8-step protocol to completely remove plaque and tartar. Designed to provide unparalleled comfort, GBT therapy uses innovative technology while being gentle on tooth and gum surfaces, it is a clinically proven high-quality protocol. Long-term dental and gum health can be maintained through regular prophylaxis.

Dental laser

We use both Er:YAG LiteTouch™ and EPIC™ X Biolase diode laser technologies to perform dental procedures on both hard and soft tissues with exceptional efficiency. The dental laser is a technology with numerous advantages, both surgical and non-surgical, it is also used in tooth extraction treatments or pain therapy/biostimulation.

Digital anesthesia

The SOGA II anesthesia system makes the injection experience more comfortable, being suitable for both adults and children. Digital control of pressure and dosage ensures a uniform distribution of anesthetic, thus helping to reduce anxiety and minimize pain felt during the injection.

Operating microscope

The high-precision apochromatic optics offered by the CJ Optik Advanced microscope help the dentist detect the finest details about the color and structure of the tooth, and by enlarging the operating field it helps to establish the diagnosis and the success of the treatment. It is an indispensable equipment in modern endodontic treatments, but it is also used in other dental treatments.

Surgical guide

The process of inserting dental implants can be performed if necessary with the option of a surgical guide. After the digital planning of the implant position, the surgical guide is created to be used during the surgery. This way, the optimal implant insertion position is obtained, a critical factor for maintaining an optimal result in the long term.

Centrifuge

In some cases, this technology is used to obtain PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) plasma, which helps in the rapid healing and regeneration of tissues. The process involves collecting blood (the same procedure as blood collection for medical tests) which is then centrifuged at specific parameters (time and rotations depending on the desired result). Because it is extracted and introduced into the same person, the plasma obtained is biocompatible and is applied directly to the desired areas.

Hygiene standards

Medical instruments

The decontamination of medical instruments is carried out in compliance with the strictest hygiene standards (national and international) with an integrated system of MELAG devices, a thermodisinfector for automatic cleaning and disinfection and two autoclaves for sterilizing reprocessable instruments (one of the two autoclaves also has the option of reprocessing handpieces exclusively). This integrated system also offers us digital traceability so that at the end of the medical intervention, the history of all instruments used is recorded in the digital file of each person.

Interior microclimate

Through the air conditioning system with fresh air intake and the full-spectrum lighting system that provides a natural light environment, we manage to have an optimal microclimate throughout the clinic.
