Endodontics

When you want to keep your tooth, not replace it

When decay reaches the depths of the tooth or an infection occurs at the root, endodontic treatment (also known as root canal treatment) is necessary to save the tooth.

At Dentelo Clinic, endodontic treatments are performed with attention to details, using an operating microscope, which ensures precision and improves the safety of the intervention.

Why is the endodontic treatment important?

  • Prevents the loss of a tooth that would otherwise have to be extracted
  • Removes infection and pain caused by damage to the dental pulp
  • Allows subsequent restoration of the tooth with a crown or filling, maintaining the balance of the entire dentition
  • Prevents complications that may occur if the infection spreads to the bone or surrounding tissues

How does root canal treatment work
at Dentelo Clinic?

Initial consultation and assessment

The endodontist analyzes the condition of the tooth with the necessary means and determines the need for treatment

Cleaning and disinfection of root canals

The affected dental pulp (nerve) is removed and both the pulp chamber and root canals are cleaned and disinfected

Canal shaping and obturation

The root canals are prepared and sealed with a special material to prevent reinfection

Tooth reconstruction

Depending on the degree of destruction, the tooth can be restored with a filling (filling) or with a dental lab reconstruction (prosthetic crown, onlay/inlay)
